Maine Ocean Lobster was founded in April 2016. The company’s operation is located on Badgers Island, Kittery, Maine which is situated on the Maine side of the Piscataqua River. The Piscataqua River that divides New Hampshire and Maine is the third fastest-flowing navigable river in the world.
Maine Ocean Lobster is an affiliated Company of the Kittery Trading Post, a world famous Outdoor Sporting Goods Retailer established in the year 1938. In the busy summer months Maine Ocean Lobster stocks an outside lobster tank at Kittery Trading Post and sells lobsters and fresh lobster meat.
Maine Ocean Lobster’s President, Kevin Adams, has developed excellent relationships with local Lobstermen who provide all of the lobsters caught from their traps daily. We provide our lobstermen with Maine Ocean Lobster branded products including rubber bands, tee shirts, hats, sweatshirts and discounts at the Kittery Trading Post. We also provide bait at competitive prices and pickup and deliver from docks in Kittery, Maine and Portsmouth, NH. In addition, all of our lobstermen participate in a bonus plan paid in December each year.
Maine Ocean Lobster has a diverse customer base which includes Wholesalers, Processors, Retail Seafood markets, Restaurants, and direct to customers.
All of Maine Ocean Lobster products are handled and processed by experienced local lobstermen. Automated equipment is never used to handle your lobster, allowing us to maintain the best quality lobster products.
